This Sunday morning we held a "Firefighter Fundamentals Class" for our members who are currently taking Firefighter I & Firefighters who are keeping up with their basic skills and Driver Training for our members who are becoming Apparatus Drivers on our Ambulances.

Led by Lead Foreman Phil Katz, this week's "Firefighter Fundamentals Class" had our Apparatus Drivers/MPO's training on E-141 and E-142 practice supply water to the lead engine via the Vista Firehouse dry hydrant while our Firefighters stretched hose lines off of E-141. This type of training is what will help our Firefighters who are currently attending the New York State Firefighter I program succeed in their class and for our Firefighters who have completed Firefighter I to keep up with their skills.
