From March 2nd to March 3rd, the Vista Fire Department responded to nearly 20 calls in a 24-hour span in response to the impact of "Winter Storm Riley" in the Vista Fire District area.
Several incidents for the Vista Fire Department included a structure fire, downed power lines, fallen trees across several streets & roadways and a motor vehicle fire off of Smith Ridge Road. Throughout the 24-hour time period, the Vista Fire Department fully staffed all Fire & EMS apparatus with over 20+ members.
