This week's Monday drill was an "EMS Call Scenarios" drill for our members.
The "EMS Call Scenarios" drill led by Capt. Debbie Ferman & Foreman Karen Lilly had our members going through several EMS call scenarios to get an understanding of how to handle certain responses and what type of equipment will be needed for each call. The types of call scenarios our members reviewed in a practical setting included a patient complaining of stomach pains in one scenario and a patient complaining of dizziness in another scenario. This type of training helped our members understand how an EMS response should go in our Department and how to handle each of these types of EMS calls in the near future.
If you are interested in being part of our team at the Vista FD, visit us any Monday night from 6:30pm - 9:30pm for more details or click the "Become a Member" tab at VistaFD.org!
