This Sunday morning we held an "MPO & Firefighter Skills Class" for our weekly Sunday Training.
This Sunday's "MPO & Firefighter Skills Class" had our Firefighting personnel pumping Engine 143 & Tanker 4 while Firefighters operated a 2-1/2" hose line and 1-3/4" hose line. Probationary Firefighters also reviewed Engine 141 and the type of equipment it carries during this week's class. This type of training is what will help our prospective Apparatus drivers to become cleared drivers in our Department as well as Firefighters who plan on attending the New York State Firefighter I program succeed in their class, and for our Firefighters who have completed Firefighter I to keep up with their skills.
