On Monday May 11th the Vista Fire Department spent their weekly Monday night drill by training on their recently purchased "Lucas 2 electric CPR device" and cleaning the apparatus for our upcoming Annual Inspection Dinner in June.

The "Lucas 2 electric CPR device" is an automatic chest compression system that performs manual chest compressions at a high quality and volume. It helps First Responders from not being tired during CPR compressions by giving adequate chest compressions in accordance with the latest CPR guidelines.

Following last night's training, the Vista Fire Department placed the "Lucas 2 electric CPR device" in-service and on our "first due" responding Ambulance.
