On Saturday, June 4th, the Vista Fire Department held their 2022 Annual Inspection Dinner at the Vista Firehouse.

At the event Firefighter Jose Rosa won the 2021-2022 Rookie of the Year award, Foreman Elly Hersam won the 2021-2022 EMT of the Year award, Foreman Brian Sferra won the 2021-2022 Firefighter of the Year award, Firefighter Ron Egloff was honored for 45 years of service, Firefighter Robert Woodstead was honored for 25 years of service, Foreman Leslie Smith was honored for 20 years of service, EMT Debbie Ferman was honored for 20 years of service, Firefighter Sean Kelly was honored for 20 years of service, Engine 142 won the "Best Fire Apparatus" award and Ambulance 84B1 won the "Best Ambulance" award.

The Vista Fire Department Annual Inspection Dinner is the one night of the year where the Vista Fire District & Vista Fire Department honor our members for the sacrifice they give throughout the year to protect and serve the Vista Fire District community.
