We at the Vista Fire Department would like to wish Firefighter Finn Brannan good luck as he has enlisted with the United States Marine Corps and will begin basic training at the Marine Corps Recruit Depot in Parris Island, South Carolina.

Firefighter Brannan joined the Vista Fire Department in June 2017 accomplishing such feats as becoming an Interior Firefighter after completing Firefighter I and being elected as our President in May 2022. Firefighter Brannan will remain as an active member with the Vista Fire Department while serving with the United States Marine Corps. While we will selfishly miss having him around, we could not be more proud of him as he takes this next step in serving our country.
