We at the Vista Fire Department would like to thank Battalion Chief Dave Russell for his years of service as our 13th Battalion Chief!

Battalion Chief Russell signed off the air for the final time early this morning as he has retired from his position as the Mutual Aid Coordinator for the 13th Battalion in Westchester County, NY. The 13th Battalion consists of the Vista, South Salem, Pound Ridge, Golden's Bridge, Croton Falls and Somers Fire Departments.

A regular attendee of our Sunday morning breakfast every week, we will miss having Battalion Chief Russell oversee our region. We thank him for his leadership, guidance and help throughout the years during our training sessions.

We wish him nothing but the best of luck in his future endeavors!
