This week's Monday drill was "Cardiac Arrest" for our members.
The "Cardiac Arrest" drill had our members going over how to handle a cardiac arrest emergency and the proper protocols for these types of events. Vista Fire Department personnel went over the management of a cardiac arrest call utilizing CPR devices and also performing manual hands on CPR. This type of training has better prepared our Vista Fire Department personnel in the event of a cardiac arrest emergency call.
If you are interested in being part of our team at the Vista FD, visit us any Monday night from 6:30pm - 9:30pm for more details or click the "Become a Member" tab at VistaFD.org!
