We at the Vista Fire Department would like to thank Firefighter Lynda Scott for her time served with the Vista Fire Department and wish her the best of luck as she moves to Boston.

Firefighter Lynda Scott joined the Vista Fire Department in January 2008 accomplishing such feats as winning the 2008-2009 Vista Fire Department EMT of the Year award, serving as a Foreman and regularly contributing as a top 10 responder for the VFD. Firefighter Scott was one of our most dependable members throughout her years of service as she would regularly drive the Ambulance on calls, maintain the dispatch room at the Vista Firehouse or lend an extra hand for any detail or event. Firefighter Scott had an immense amount of passion, motivation and dedication towards the Vista Fire Department as she served the Vista Fire District community with great pride.

While we will all selfishly miss Firefighter Scott around the Vista Firehouse, we wish her nothing but the best of luck with the next chapter of her life.
