Over the past several days, "Fireman Tom" Ritchey visited students at Meadow Pond Elementary School to celebrate safety month at MPES.

"Fireman Tom" spoke to 1st, 3rd and 5th grade classes about calling 9-1-1, knowing 2 ways out of every room and even hosted a "game show" where students answered safety questions on topics such as calling 9-1-1, stop, drop & roll, 2 ways out of every room and how to use a fire extinguisher.

We would like to thank the Katonah-Lewisboro School District and Meadow Pond Elementary School for having "Fireman Tom" visit as part of "safety month!"
