Mark your calendars as our 2024 community events schedule has been released:

-- Join us on Saturday, May 11th from 5pm - 8pm for our annual "Pasta Night & Open House" event at the Vista Firehouse (377 Smith Ridge Road)! It will be $12.00 for Adults / $8.00 for Children 8 and under (and it's all you can eat)! Buy tickets at the door, online at VistaFD.org/Tickets or by scanning the QR code on the flyer!

-- On Sunday, September 8th starting at 9am we will be holding a wreath-laying ceremony at our September 11th Memorial behind the Vista Firehouse. If you cannot make the service a guestbook will be located at the September 11th Memorial throughout the day for members of the public to sign when they visit. All members of the community are welcome to attend.

-- On Saturday, October 12th from 5pm - 8pm we will holding our 1st ever "Pizza Night & Open House" event at the Vista Firehouse! It will be $15.00 per meal (1 pizza - Cheese or Pepperoni, salad bar and 2 soft drinks)! Buy tickets at the door, online at VistaFD.org/Tickets or by scanning the QR code on the flyer!

-- Stop by on Halloween night from 5pm - 8pm to "trick or treat" at the Vista Firehouse! During the event we will be handing out candy, fire prevention materials, batteries for your smoke detectors as part of our "change your clocks, change your smoke detector batteries" campaign and giving apparatus tours!

-- We kick off the holiday season on Saturday, December 7th for our annual "Toys For Tots" Toy Drive between 9am - 5pm! Community members can donate a new and unwrapped toy all day long at the Vista Firehouse to help a child during the holiday season! During the duration of the event we will have Santa Claus on hand to meet with children and get their photo taken! We will also have cookie decorating stations and holding tours of the Vista Fire Department apparatus!

-- Lastly we wrap up 2024 with our annual "Candy Cane Run" on Saturday, December 14th from 9am - 12pm as we bring Santa Claus around the community on our Fire Engine to the assigned stops that can be found on our flyer or at VistaFD.org under the "Community Events" tab. Children will receive a Candy Cane and an opportunity to take a picture with Santa and the Fire Engine!
