Hands-On Skills with New York City Emergency Room Doctors Drill for 10/28/24

This week's Monday drill was a "Hands-On Skills with New York City Emergency Room Doctors Drill" for our members.
The "Hands-On Skills with New York City Emergency Room Doctors" drill had our Vista Fire Department personnel training alongside providers from numerous area agencies as we learned from several emergency room doctors covering different types of skills. This drill was led by former Vista Firefighter/EMT Duncan Grossman who was a member for 10 years before heading off to medical school in Maine. Dr. Grossman brought along several doctors from his team at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City to cover topics such as trauma, cardiac arrest, intubation equipment operations and understanding the fundamentals of an ultrasound. The Vista Volunteer Fire Department would like to thank Dr. Duncan Grossman, Dr. Phillip Groden, Dr. Jared Kutzin, Dr. Dimitri Alexis, Dr. Srikar Adibhatla, Dr. Carver Goodhue, Dr. Aminas Avril, Dr. Delaney Bates, Dr. Julian Sackey and Registered Nurse Alexa Yabon for joining us this past Monday Night!
