This Sunday morning, we hosted a "Firefighter Skills Class" as part of our weekly Sunday Training.
The "Firefighter Skills Class" focused on Firefighter Personal Protective Equipment. Understanding how to properly use and maintain PPE is crucial for ensuring a firefighter’s safety in hazardous environments. During this training, members focused on proper donning and doffing techniques, as well as inspecting and maintaining their gear to ensure it remains functional and effective in emergency situations. This training is not only essential for those enrolled in the Firefighter I program but also helps seasoned firefighters maintain and refine their skills for greater safety and effectiveness.
