After more than 30 years of dedicated service as District Manager, Tom Ritchey is retiring, leaving behind a legacy of commitment, leadership, and community service that will not be forgotten.
Fondly known as "Fireman Tom," Tom has been a beloved figure in the community, teaching Fire Prevention at Meadow Pond Elementary School for many years. His passion for educating children about fire safety has left a lasting impact on generations of students.
Beyond his role as District Manager, Tom has dedicated 45 years of service to the Vista Fire Department, embodying the true spirit of volunteerism and public safety. Additionally, his commitment to protecting our community extends to his work as a police officer with the Lewisboro and Pound Ridge Police Departments.
Tom's leadership, kindness, and unwavering dedication will be deeply missed, but we are incredibly grateful for all he has done. We wish him nothing but the best in his well-earned retirement and hope he enjoys this next chapter to the fullest.
