| Members of the Vista Fire Department recently visited the Town of Lewisboro Little Explorers Camp for a special fire safety presentation.
Lead Foreman Ryan Ruggiero, Foreman Pietro Cipriano and Ex-Chief Jim Hackett gave the campers a tour of Engine 141 and introduced them to some of the tools and equipment our firefighters use during emergencies. The children also learned about the protective gear firefighters wear and received important, age-appropriate fire safety tips.
Visits like this provide a fun and interactive way for children to learn about fire safety while becoming more familiar with the firefighters and apparatus they may encounter during an emergency.
