Firefighter Phil Wanderman Completes Engine 141 Driver Training
Vista Fire Department, April 29
The Vista Fire Department is proud to announce that Firefighter Phil Wanderman is now qualified to drive Engine 141.
Firefighter Wanderman successfully completed the E-141 driver training program, which included hands-on experience operating the pump panel and logging over twelve hours of drive time. With this milestone achieved, he will now begin training to become qualified on Tanker 4.

Extrication with Victim Removal – Vehicle on Its Side Drill for 04/27/26

This week’s Monday drill was “Extrication with Victim Removal – Vehicle on Its Side” for our members.
During this drill, members trained on stabilizing and operating at a motor vehicle accident where a vehicle has come to rest on its side. Vista Fire Department Holds Several "Thank You Events" for Members

Over the past month, the Vista Volunteer Fire Department has been treating our members to a night of golf and dinner at Golf Lounge 18 in Danbury, CT, as a token of appreciation for their dedication and service.

Vista Fire Department Assists at Multiple-Alarm Structure Fire with Reported Entrapment in South Salem
Vista Fire Department, April 19
On Thursday, April 16th at approximately 1240 hours, the Vista Fire Department was dual dispatched with the South Salem Fire Department for a reported structure fire with entrapment within their fire district.
